It was very much okayish, im from Kolkata only and if they are trying to say that their food taste matches that of Kolkata or tastes like bengalis then Absolutely not. Nothing was good, not even the sweets. Atleast for sweet, I expected it to be good since it is named as Bengali Sweet House, but please come to Kolkata and kindly try the sweets. Putting too much of sweet doesn't make a sweet tasty. Only Dahi balla was okay, rest Rabri was not Rabri, it was 'Mishti Jol'. Everything needs to be balanced, i heard a lot about this place but was disappointed visiting here.

Tried their famous Golgappas. They were delicious to say the least. They use mineral water for the "pani" of the Golgappas. The filling inside the puri was tangy but not too much which I like. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity of Bengali Market.

they are basically two different shops in bengali market one is bakery and is good for grabbing snacks while other has sweets (a very very good varieties of sweets) and is perfect for having full meal. in short both are amazing. in bakery shop you can see all type of different and unique bakery stuff like wallnut pie, home made chocolate, pizza sandwiches , etc.. while other is perfet for buying sweets, thali and chole bhature ?

This is one of my favorite spot for all kind of indian sweets. The quantity and quality both are really good. Sweets are a bit expensive here, but worth to try.

I feel sad to give low rate to this restaurant considering I have grown up coming to place specially for chole bhature, dahi Tikki etc… and now if you see the place it need major renovations. The food still tastes good but the over all ambiance is so sad.

Used to go there in my childhood, still stands strong today. Taste has been the same as then and have mostly the same staff. For purely food I'd give 4 stars tho. Must Try Baked Rasgulla with Rabri (In Sweets) & chole bhature
