★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no garbage collectors at Sarat pally, Chuanpur, Chaltia, behrampore, 742165. The area is filty with used sanitary napkins and garbage all over the place. Municipality only works in the old city but becomes blind when it comes to cleaning the new city and new mushrooming suburbs. Overall a very filthy place.

Berhampore is the administrative headquarters of the Murshidabad district. Berhampore is a city and a municipality in the state of West Bengal, India. The population Berhampore urban area are 305,609 as of the 2011 census. This was the seventh largest city in West Bengal. Before becoming a city many janpadas such as Saidabad, Farasdanga, Kalikapur had become famous. Cossimbazar had also become world famous for its muslin clothes.
