Nonetheless, the tiny village is a tourist landmark and is famous for the Badeswar Nath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed to have been built by Ravan, who was a great devotee of Lord Shiva.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice temple. Crowded in srawan month. According to hindu mythology in past tretayug ravan stills the shiv ling and run away. His rath was sinking in the ground and therefore he have to put the shiv ling on the ground for some time.
