★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just called to take an appointment at rawdon street and the receptionist didn't even greet properly and she was very irritated and no information given regarding the appointment. She is telling us to check the website and select a doctor and she didn't even want to talk.
The job of the receptionist is to receive the calls and address them properly which was not done.
Before visiting the hospital itself I felt like the hospital has a very bad management team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For NRI's, delivering baby in this branch, be aware that this hospital branch in Rawdon Street takes minimum 1 month to send the track record in form of register (i.e. detail containing birth of all babies in this branch) which until & unless their register is not full, and once this register is full, then only they send it to the Moulali municipal corporation. Post which another lump sum time would be taken by the Moulali municipal corporation to provide you the baby birth certificate. This is utterly frustrating and ridiculous. I am in Singapore and my wife delivered here in this Rawdon street branch, Kolkata costing me more than INR 2.5 lakhs for the baby delivery. This timeline of birth certificate, I was not aware of. If I would have been be aware, then definitely I would have not chosen this branch at ALL. For their ridiculous strategy, I am not able to apply passport for my baby and is the primary reason why I can't bring my baby to Singapore. So in short, NRI's have to be more careful and avoid this branch as much as possible. Pathetic & disgusting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Respected owner , you should do a mystery call to your landline number and see how your receptionist talks and behaves . I called this morning to take an appointment . The phone rings and this lady picks up the line . I said hello she replied saying hmmm. Completely not interested . Immediately transferred the call to another line without even talking. Again a lady comes on line , I said hello her reply was hmm . I mean this is so ridiculous. What kind of tele-callers are hired . I felt so disgusted as if I am trouble by calling and asking for n appointment. I called back so many times to get the doctors name but every time they disconnected the call.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place!! Doctors are very good!! I am very satisfied with my c section delivery by Doctor Mahua Chanda. She is God to me and I am very happy because my daughter is under a very very very good pediatrician and neonatologist Dr. Ruma Ray. These two doctors are God to me. My daughter is 3 years old now and my relationship with Neotia is 3 years. My daughter came to me at Neotia with the help of Mahua mam and healthy with the help of Dr. Ruma Ray and ofcourse with the help of God..... Now also I go there for vaccination of my daughter. The medical staffs are also very good!! Polite and took a very good care of mine and my daughter..... My relationship with Neotia is very longterm and very good!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a doctor i wl advise everyone never ever go for delivery at Neotia, they dont hav any ICU for Mother, so if after delivery any complications occur to Mother u wl land in trouble. My wife after delivery went into Heart failure, they didn't hav ICU, immediately i called my seniors ,admitted at AMRI ICU. while taking my wife 40000 was due ,they said first clear the due then they wl release her. I requested them my babies are at ur hospital, my father and brother is sitting in front f u, they wl gv u 40000, let me take my wife to another hospital as early as possible. they refused by saying its hospital policy, they dont take payment thru Google or phone pe coz it wl b credited next day. Ultimately i sent my brother to home brought money then get her released. I wl never forget this incident and never tell anyone to go for delivery their. Unprofessional, inhumane

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please look out for Dr. Sandip Biswas (Gynaecologist). He is an expert, passionate, transparent, lovely human and gem of doctor. You will never find a better doc than him in entire Kolkata. I can say this after dng my due diligence and research. He answers all your queries and tells u actual fact whether u like it or not. Other doctors have behavioural or non- responsive issues, which one never find with him. During my wife's pregnancy that have been multiple occasions, I had to call him at 2:00 a.m. and he received the call without any obligation attitude. This matters. Other docs give their staff mob no and are not readily available, in times of need.
As far as hospital is concerned, beware of charges they levy, they charge for basic tolieteries, food even when we choose delux room and initially told they are non chargeable. Excessive investigation charges collected (over and above limit set by WB clinical establishment regulatory commission). So this practise is grossly unjustifiable.
If Dr. Sandip Biswas sat at other clinics, i would have got the delivery at other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hospital with zero capability of emergency situation post delivery. My wife got into Post pertum eclampsia after 48 hrs. of C-section and due to that she got extreme breathing problem and sudden rise of Blood pressure. She had to be admitted to ICU and the hospital has zero capability to support the patient. Doctor had to transfer her to another hospital in the midnight which was another pain part for the patient.
I would not recommend this hospital for any maternity cases as I had very tough and painful experience. Also this hospital always charges everything in actuals and they don't have any PPN package facility, due to which their bills are very high.
I would recommend any other hospitals like Apollo, Medica, AMRI etc. for maternity purpose where patient will get immediate attention in case of post delivery complications.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was awesome. Well trained nurses who takes great cares of mom and baby. Ambience, medical aids, foods are good. Tentative estimates given before treatment was very accurate. Rates are very much reasonable.
