Average ambience.... Service was very very bad, took more that an hour to get appetizer and main course. The only saviour was the food tasted very good ( That's why three stars.)

Bharat Bhavan is an excellent choice if you're in the mood of experimenting with desi food from different parts of the country. I say experiment as they offer dishes that are not available in most restaurants. They have a fine dine feel and are definitely on the pricey sude, but worth the experience. Just the variety of pickles and the rotis / paranthas / naans on offer will have you hooked. Yes, their pickles are a must-try too! Loved almost everything we ate but the tarbooz curry, paneer khurchan, zaffrani naan and khubani ka meetha were a class apart. There are so many interesting things on the menu that it'll take a lot more trips for me to try out the variety of food on offer. Highly recommended! It's best to book a table to avoid long wait times as they're definitely in demand.

Bharat Bhavan as the name suggests takes you on a taste tour of the country. From north to south and west to east, speciality of every state is available. Before I come to food, as soon as you enter you are welcomed with elegantly done interiors, pastel walls and beautiful lamps. While food was arriving my eyes were busy admiring the beauty of elegant cutlery. Cutlery seems to be sourced from different parts of the country and has a good blend of meenkari work to lovely designs from across the country. Also, pastel plates and serving bowls look very elegant. There is a variety of mocktails and cocktails with special ingredients from each state. Bartenders are very well trained and know there subject really well. We had to just tell then the base and palate preference. They got Bantai, Kashmir ki kali – kahwa infused, beetal leaf base drink with aroma and flavor of beetal leaf in each sip. They have huge variety of starters. Chaats, kebabs, paneer and other variety. Must try are Namkeem Rosmalai ki chaat, Lauki ka seekh & Tandoori Mushroom. Each starter has a unique flavor, taste and presentations. Chutney served are different with every starter and range from green chutney to walnut and cranberry chutney. All tasting deliciously yummy. We also Paneer Chettiyar. It is mini platter of Ghee uppam, tamilnad paneer, coconut gravy and chutneys. For main we had Makkhan Makkai Kofta. Rich creamy gravy of cashews and tomato will soft yet crunchy balls of makkai. Best part is when you break the ball, aroma of white butter melting fills the space and you can see that butter flowing in your plate. There is huge variety of rotis from sheermal, mangolerean, tandoori, kulchas, warqi, zaffrani, baqarkhani and so on. We had zaffrani naan and warqi parantha. Zaffrani naan was soft, fluffy and light. Warqi Parantha had multiple layers crispy yet melt in mouth kinds. We had shahi tukda and in-house thandai ice-cream. Pefectly sweet and subtle flavors. Don’t forget to book a table for yourself, as they keep a personlised card for you in beautiful card holder.

Bharat Bhavan celebrates the spirit, cuisine and diversity of Bharat, they have remained true to its concept and curated the menu and food keeping our diversity and heritage alive. The ambience is classic, contemporary and soothing. It has a touch of heritage in the furnishings where every minute detail has been carefully planned with passion and colors are coordinated well to represent different themes from Bharat. Even the music was a great balance between classical instrumentals with some kind of modern touch to it. They use the best ingredients of a region and prepare a dish which anybody's palette from another region can enjoy, which is totally commendable. The names in the menu will leave you impressed with their word play like Bihu-tiful Assam, Kashmir ki Kali, Paan Banaras, Muradabadi Murabba etc. Queen of Tripura makes use of best pineapples found in Tripura, Kashmir ki Kali makes use of spices, Mango Inchi makes use of Inchi made in a particular part of Tamil Nadu. Not just that, tributes are given to people and lanes as well like Chowranghee Lane, Chunnilal ka Sharbat and many more. For mocktails/cocktails we opted for Paan Banaras, Kashmir ki Kali, Bantai and their special Mango Ginger Sharbat. All the drinks were visually stunning with subtle flavors as they only use natural flavors to make them, for instance, infusing something with Betel Leaf for Paan flavor and using Jaggery instead of Sugar. We took a platter of assorted starters which included Beet ki Galouti, Tandoori Mushrooms, Paneer Tikka, Kashmiri Gobhi, Subz ke Sikke and Chenna Akhrot ke Kebab, followed by Namkeen Rasmalai ki Chaat and Khamang Kakdi. We really liked all the preparations with Beet ki Galouti and Tandoori Mushrooms being favorites. Rasmalai ki Chaat was another thing which took us by surprise but we happened to love it. Mildly sweet Chenna balls were served over a plate of Farsan Chaat. Overall food preparations were aesthetic and flavorful, with a special attention given to the accompaniments they go well with. We also had a Paneer Chettiyar Appam which is one of the best Appam combo I have ever had. The Paneer gravy on the side was perfectly cooked and aromatic as per authentic South Indian standards. We ended this gastronomic experience with a delicious take on Alwar Milkcake Icecream and a serving of Kong Phirni made of granular makhana pieces into thick mava rabdi. I would definitely recommend that you go for the latter when you visit Bharat Bhavan. To sum up, Bharat Bhavan promises a casual yet luxury dining experience with 'Bharat' being on top of its priorities for everything.

So we all have visited a bunch of restaurants by now serving indian food. We all have our own definition of what authentic is, and we all have a set palate when it comes to certain food items. Bharat bhawan for me was an experience, a fine dine experience that ties all of India together. Right from the drinks you pick that represents parts of India like the kashmiri kahwa cocktail so authentically curated but making a drink like that into a cocktail to have flavors of it shine through the whiskey, was spot on. I absolutely love mushrooms and one item I'd highly recommend is their tandoori mushrooms, the smokey flavor came through and how, the marinade on it was on point. Bharat bhawan has so much to offer and i can't wait to go back!

Amazing ambiance. Food quality is excellent. Great background music. Good to go with family and kids unlike the other restaurants and bars on the Highstreet. A bit expensive but worth the experience. Service can be improved a little.

The menu they have curated is a mix of Indian culture. You’ll find cuisine from every corner of India. Basically all flavours of India at one place. Chique and classy corners with classical music playing in the background makes this place amazing. Also, Indian restaurants are always known for their warm hospitality which you’ll experience here as well. Bharat Bhavan is definitely a gem of a restaurant. It wouldn’t disappoint you in anything. Delicious food, ambiance is great and service is top notch. Enough Parking space is also available.
