I am having an account in this branch since 2005. Once 1500/- was transferred to some person in Bihar through NEFT without my knowledge. When checked with the staff she said I must have sent the money. When I told her that I never transfer the money from this bank at all. Later on after writing email to the central office. It was discovered that the staff by mistake typed wrong account number she had transferred the money from my account. Got the money with interest after doing the follow up. Such staff who do not work properly and do not accept that mistaken can also happen from their end. In one of the FD the amount was wrongly calculated. The query was raised in the audit. The bank started calling up and took the FD from us and later on given a different FD with less amount. When collected the FD we realized the amount is less. Without our knowledge the amount was deducted and given fresh FD. About this I had written email to the central office. Later on the original amount of FD got from the bank such incompetent staff who do such mistake and without customer knowledge the deduct the amount. They had freeze my account without my knowledge for KYC purpose. I had not received email, letter or sms from them about this. when I went to Charkop branch making FD the staff Ms Mohini Kotian called this branch and asked to unfreeze my account and took money for FD making. Next day again I went to Charkop branch for making another FD that time Ms Mohini Kotian told me that my account is freeze. So I visited this branch and gave my KYC details. Firstly how can they freeze an account without informing the customer. I had once visited this branch for FD closure at 10.30 a.m given to Mr. Toraskar and asked how much time it will take to transfer the amount to another bank. He told within two hours the amount will be transferred. When checked on same day at 6.30 pm the amount was not transferred at all. When called up Mr. Toraskar he started giving excuses there was no staff and other staff did first the renewal of FDs and later on FD closure work. Till 6.30 p.m. no information was given to the customer that the money was not transferred. After speaking to the Branch Manager Ms. Harinakshi instructed to transfer the amount . Luckily I didn't have any money emergencies on that day. My question to bank when your staff promises why it is not followed and in spite of having my number with the branch the person didn't bothered to call and update me. About this experience I had written a email to the central office and the Branch Manager Ms. Harinakshi instead having discussion with me she speaks to my husband when he had visited the branch for some work. She said that the issue of account feeze was settled then why your wife is writing email to central office. The branch is having my number but instead of talking to me directly the branch manager Ms. Harinakshi was talking to my husband and trying to sort the old problem, instead of the current one. So again I had to write an email to the central office as a reminder and then the Branch manager called up for a meeting and apologized. What kind of bank is this who appoints such Managers who lacks in right approach towards customer grievances. Regards to Fd amount not got on time issue even the central office also apologized through email. So how can a bank be so casual and lacks in customer service at all. Seriously their staff require lot of training in daily working of bank and customer service.
