My parents are aged and they went to post office for passport procedure and at there the madam in charge said that they need to bring hard copy of the appointment receipt. I mean seriously, it is clearly mentioned on 'passport seva kendra' that now people don't need to bring hard copy of the appointment receipt only SMS on your phone is required. They are government servants. They MUST aware about the LATEST UPDATES. But irrespective of the age she asked my father to bring HARD COPY otherwise she won't process their application. When my father informed her about the same she said SMS is only valid for cities like surat, ahmedabad. Apart from that, my father requested her to talk to me on phone as he is senior citizen and doesn't understand much about technical terms. She clearly refused to talk and asked my father to bring print out in very angry manner. My father had to immediately arranged it and their application delayed by 1 hour. And as this post office is located extremely narrow and rural area of bharuch, it was very difficult for him to make a print out of application receipt. Please take some actions on these so called government servants who actually doesn't know anything. You have power and position that means you should respect people especially when they are senior citizens. You should be helpful and coordinative. But first you MUST BE UPDATED.
H	Hemang Purohit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is Bharuch district Head Post Office. Passport office is also here .I observed Here is limited Service staff . during Pick Hours public rush is too much. We have to wait in queue minimum half an hour. Two wheeler is good option to go there other wise four wheeler not preferable due to traffic headache. Very far from Zadeshwar area . I would like to suggest relocate this Head Branch & prefer outside old city so that all people can get good advantages of Head post office services easily & smoothly like RTO .Govt. should think of it.
