The length of the beach is 1.5 kms and it is flat and straight and clear. The Ratnagiri light house and the famous Madavi beach of Ratnagiri city can be seen from Bhatye Beach.

The beach is covered with trees all over which makes the place breezy and gives it an ecstatic look.
It is a perfect place for the ones seeking some peace and solitude.
The beach has ample space of parking.
There are lots of food stalls where you can get delicious chat items at reasonable cost.
The Ratnagiri light house and the famous Madavi beach of Ratnagiri city are visible from the Bhatye Beach.
The beach is famous for its blackish mud-colored water. It's sand that is black in color and quite soft.
A famous temple of “Zari Vinayak” (Lord Ganesh Temple) is situated at the end of the beach.
