The goddess is seen with eight arms with various type of weapons. She is also hold the head of Mahishasura demon which was slain at Mysore. On this occasion Dussehra festival is celebrated. Every day prayer to the goddess starts early in the morning from 5 am. Surrounding nature is beautiful & scenic. Just avoid visiting there during monsoon.
