Cleaning Staff Required... Bhimavaram bus station is a bus station located in Bhimavaram city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is owned by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. This is one of the major bus stations in the district, with services to all towns and villages in the district and also to nearby cities in the state. The APSRTC is operating more than 1,600 Pushkaram special buses from July 14 to 25 to Rajahmundry, besides 300 free buses, which will be shuttling within the city. Usually, APSRTC collects 50 per cent extra fare from passengers travelling in special buses operated during during Sankranti or Dasara festivals. But this time, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had instructed the APSRTC not to collect excess fares in special buses. Mr. Naidu launched 10 new metro express buses from Rajahmundry Bus stand on Monday as part of Pushkarams. APSRTC authorities have made arrangements for the convenience of pilgrims attending the Pushkarams at Rajahmundry. Everyday, 11 special buses, including 10 super luxury and one AC bus from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry, in addition to the 15 regular buses on the route. These special buses will be operated from Luthergiri bus point in Rajahmundry to Hyderabad and all regular buses on the route would halt for some time at Luthergiri point. While, regular buses from Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Kakinada non-stop, Rajavaram, Dwarapudi, Kotipalli, Yanam, Ramachandrapuram sector will be operated till the Rajahmundry bus complex, special buses would be stopped at different points to avoid traffic jams at the bus complex. Accordingly, special buses from Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram sector will be stopped at H.B. Colony and would commence return journey from the same point. Likewise, special buses from Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Guntur would be operated till Luthergiri, buses from Amalapuram, Rajolu, Narsapuram and Bhimavaram will be operated till Margani Bus Stop, said a press release.
