Often there is a lot of crowd in this place after coming to this place is very good, it is the most wonderful place in the world Sanjay Sarovar Dam is located at a distance of 43 kilometers from the headquarters of Bhimgarh district. This dam is one of the largest dirt dams in Asia. The water supply capacity of this dam is 519.38 meters. Excellent place . Constructed on river Wainganga Near Bheemgarh Village in Chhapara Block of Seoni District of Madhya Pradesh. Easily accessible by road on NH 7 now NH 44 at Chhapara Town which is nearly 15 -20 km from Dam Site . This Dam was Constructed in year 1970- 1980 with two Major Canals on Left and Right Bank . Named after Sanjay Gandhi. This is the First Dam constructed on River Wainganga after it's Origin from Village Mundara Both places are in Seoni District. This is Asia's Largest Mud (Earthen) Dam which has a great catchment area and also generates Hydro Electricity. Must visit place .you will love to see this scenic Dam of Wainganga River . There is an irrigation department rest house on hill top which is also a major attraction here . Also visit that place too. Please like my review . Thank You

If you are looking for a great civil engineering work must go for it. One of the rarest mud dam of India and one of the biggest mud dam of Asia. Best time to visit is rainy season, you will probably get some best scenes to capture.

Very nice & calm Place To Visit With Family but There is not any kind of tourist facility when specially ladies come with the family's... But over all very nice & beautiful place & huge backwater area of dam gives amazing views...
