★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience..I have been a biggest fan of this restaurant..we have been visiting since since past 5 yrs . We visited the restaurant on 1st of Jan 2021..They made us sit for more than 1 hour staring that we have not started yet their employees were busy playing games on mobiles post one hour a waiter walked and said that we can't have food of our choice as they have only one starter and fore main course only fish is available...We had three kids with us who got frustrated..On top of it the staff was not apologetic and spoke in a rude manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Part of Assam Bhavan on the 1st floor. During covid times the menu is very restricted to set thalis. The food is very simple and any Assamese or Bengali who is used to the cuisine will feel quite at home with the taste. For anyone looking for fancy stuff i think you will be disappointed. Very reasonably priced

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s an unassuming restaurant on the first floor of Assam Bhavan in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. There are no fancy decor or sitting arrangements, but the place is clean. Currently, may be due to COVID, only ‘Thali’s are available. The staffs are very polite & helpful. We had 1 Vegetarian& 1 Fish ‘Thali’. The quantity of food in each ‘Thali’ was enough for 1 person- they even offer you a 2nd helping of Rice & Dal. The service was quite prompt. The food was very simple & homely- I found it to be very comforting. And the price is very very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an uncomplicated, soothing meal.

Excellent Bengali, Assamese thalis, starter chicken chilli fry. Authentic ambience of Assam. Strongly recommend for all who have visited Assam and Bengal.
