★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in saltlake and easily accessible from VIP road, Ultadanga and New Town. Season starts from April and goes till September. Bit reasonable but trainer to student ratio is very less. During the starting of the season it gets too crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibility to improve it as a standard sweeming pool and place for physic development jeopardized as the management is in the hand of receiver. Facilities are bare minimum, maintenance is as is where is lastly a Jim is there to show primitive style of body building. Staffs are non concern /casual like the Receiver. A sufficient government land and facilities is the only cause to keeping it afloat. Few years back part of it's land occupied by local councilor or authority to construct a club for the block though enough place is there in adjacent large park. It is well connected and oldest sweeming club in salt lake. Ambiance was very good once upon a time. Now it is just working.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oldest swimming pool in Saltlake, initially very well managed till political interference started. Now under Court's supervision. Obviously deteriorated a lot, no maintenance for long time, no discipline,no improvement. A sad state of affairs.0⁰

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest swimming pool of Salt Lake. Previously it boasted one of the best trainers in West Bengal, from where multiple state and National champions made their way through. It can be upgraded a bit and maintained a bit better. It has 2 huges swimming pools, one having around 3 feet of water in the deeper side for children and the other a huge pool with more than 14' depth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I swam decades back and have fond memories. The era when we were trained by amazing team of coaches like Lalit Da, Ratna Aunty, Tullu Da...... Extremely well maintained then, great discipline and superb trainers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started attending since the beginning of the session. In my personal experience, in the very last batch (6:00-7:00) on an average day there are about 7 women and 8 men swimming yet the segregation of the pool (done by a rope tied from end to end) allows 3/4 space for men's section and 1/4 for women's section. I don't know which decade they are living in or if they even understand basic math and physics. It's not remotely rational. Hypothetically, if the ration of W:M was 1:3, that arrangement, would have been justified. However, after paying the same amount and showing up on time, there remains a massive disparity in the amenities offered to the different genders.
P.S.- I also fail to understand why they can't just adjust the rope in accordance to the attendance sheet. It's just untying and tying two simple knots.
