★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The police station deals with the general public in a friendly manner. Its response to any call for help is quite prompt and much effective. Considering the fact that the policemen and women have to act under tremendous pressure from diverse corners, the record of this PS is quite clean and transparent. However, views of residents under its jurisdiction may differ depending on the nature of an emergency.
The formation of a separate Police Commissionerate for Bidhannagar has no doubt gave a boost to the overall efficiency of Police Administration. A large percentage of the residents in Salt Lake are senior citizens having very limited mobility. Police Stations in this area are changing their orientation towards meeting their special kinds of needs including medical help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience. Exceptionally rude and useless officers. Especially Mr. Mohsin Sardar hassled me a lot and gave me more troubles instead of solving my problems. Attitude is extremely unfriendly. Police are supposed to help citizens not give them extra stress and work. The general tendency is to shoo people away or make them do extra and unnecessary work. Very shameful.
