★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest & best Girls' Higher secondary school.
It is a reputed Bengali medium girls' school of the area. It is big enough as a town school, has proper playground, classes are well lit and ventilated and spacious enough. All in all, the infrastructure is good, but there's room for further improvement. What sets it apart though...is the fact that faculty is great. Teachers are cooperative and concerned about students' welfare. Ambience is right for learning. Students do learn how to be a good human being.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school has meant a lot to me. Have been studied here for 17 years. And now am out of this school proudly saying am from bbghs. Always put my head up and with a prided chest to say that this school has something really different than the others. And I can never forget my days spend here. It's really like a second home to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very good school located near India Government mint(Calcutta)..smart classes... well decorated....centre for All India Aakash Test Series(AIATS)examination...(for central Aakashiian)...
It can be reached by roadways and also by train in the southern Calcutta line...takes 5 minutes walk from Majerhat Railway station...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some teachers are nice while some aren't. The staffs, peons are not so nice to the students. Teaching is ok. If an exam is coming, the syllabus is given only 6 days before. It causes a real problem among students. But overall, I would say that the school is average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a student reviewing from my mother's account. So basically I am from class 10 of 2021 batch and to be honest this lockdown opened the real faces of every teacher. This school is not at all recommend for some reasons. They are-
1. There is no coordination among the teachers... If one teacher says that this is important then other teacher will say that this is not. There are no proper notes that are distributed among the whole class for which it causes problems for many students. Also there are some teachers who deduct marks if a student doesn't write a definition of her choice though it's all right.
2. Syllabus is given before 6days of examination and is completed before two days of exam. This creates a huge problem and lots of students have to suffer.
3. Day by day teachers are being rude.... If we ask any questions they are disturbed and they are telling us directly like "go and study and further don't dare to disturb me"and I think no parents will want to send their wards in this school where clearing doubts is clearly a disturbance for a teacher!
4. This school not even provided a single tips for the madhyamik candidates. And this was more disappointing!
So overall this school is nothing but a trash!
