★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the first time I ordered some fruits and vegetables due to lockdown. Thoughtimethe delivery is on time as assured, most of the fruits are either spoiled or of poor quality. I don't suggest bb to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delivery is prompt, Most of the items are fairly good. I am not sure whether the problem is with my account only but whenever I try to pay through PayZapp, I get through upto OTP and the second I submit the OTP, the screen reverts back to BigBasket and the payment doesn’t go through irrespective of whether I use Credit card, Debit card or PayZapp card with sufficient pre-paid amount in it. When I complained to HDFC they say it is from BB end as all other transactions does not have a problem. It appears that BB does not eant to part with that 10% discount announced.

Only drawback is, we don't get some of the most favoured non veg items, that are available at Hyderabad big basket, here.
Delivery boys and the customer care people are very polite and honest.

2.MRP or price of some package items are higher than usual and vice versa.
3.Delivery is excellent service.
4.Refund is quickly generated.

I ordered for Diwali decor lights and I wake up on Diwali to see a message that my order has been cancelled because of unavailability. I check the product out again and it's still very much in stock! But they refuse to deliver it citing there are no more slots for the day and want to deliver it after diwali. Meanwhile I have a crying 4 year old and 6 year old at home who have learnt their 1st lesson in disappointment because of blindly trusting someone. Wish I had just gone shopping the old school way to a store. The kids atleast wouldn't have had a tearful Diwali.
