★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campus is ill maintained , when I first entered here I thought no-one studies here . Teachers are nice though but the place is filled with noise due to its location near main road. People surrounding this region are not modern and open minded as well . If you are thinking of taking admission in this college the check out all of the things thoroughly , I don't know a lot . I will just say only take it as a back-up and focus on more good colleges.

The library facility we see in the website is not true. We cannot use the library here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bihar National College is a constituent unit of Patna University.It is a multi-faculty college and offers courses in Science, Humanities, and Arts at graduate level.It is a post-graduate college but post-graduate teaching has been stopped for many years due to an insufficient number of teachers.
Bihar National College came into being with its status raised to second grade college in year 1889 by the government canto and tobakachi. It was founded as a high school by Babu Bisheshwar Singh in 1883. Later it was raised to the status of B.A. degree level in 1907 imparting degrees both in arts and science.
The college is situated in central Patna close to Gandhi Maidan with the river Ganges flowing south of it. A hostel facility is also available. There is a lush green campus with playground.

College was established in 1889 by two avid educationists and nationalists Babu Bisheswar Singh and Shaligram Singh of Kulharia Raj, Bhojpur, Bihar.Bihar National College Patna, popularly known by its acronym B.N.College, is one of the oldest colleges of Bihar. At present it is one of the constituent units of Patna University, however, it was established much before the establishment of University. This college enjoys its splendid history of serving this planet through a very strong leverage of education sector.This college was granted B++ grade in accreditation by NACC in the first cycle. In the last month college has submitted SSR for NACC accreditation for IInd cycle.All the departments, regular and vocational, of college are doing well. Teachers and staff are bound to cater educational needs of our students. Students are also performing well. In 2018 students of Sociology and Mathematics earned Gold Medals at UG level.
One of the best college under patna university , located near gandhi maidan . College is at the main place and near the road and easily visible to all . One of the most oldest colleges in india with over more than 132 years old . However patna university is seventh oldest university of india with over 102 years old, but the bihar national college was more than 132 years old .All faculties were nice and well behaved , moreover office staffs were not that friendly and always lives in attitude that they are the principal of the college . Chemistry and physics department has a building situated just near the main building, and the college is situated at the bank of Ganga river . College also provides you hostel but maximum boys don't prefer hostel due to its environment of hostel which was not so good .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good experience but the quality of teaching and laboratory must increase to offer satisfying education. The college is under pressure for less number of teachers in almost every department. Hostels need to be properly maintained and kept clean. Outsiders and passed students occupy most of the rooms here.
