★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't comment on how authentic it was but the service was great. A fun atmosphere ... and with a bit of discussion beforehand, vegan friendly options were on offer. Enjoyed it so much I went back a second time.
Arguably, Mandap at Express Hotel offers the best Gujarati Thali in the city of Vadodara with its sumptuous spread of snacks, choice of vegetables, dals, rice and its soft khichdi followed by a choice of sweets. The ambiance is extremely pleasant and the set up
is spacious along with a great and unhurried service by the staff.A perfect place to relish a very tastily made Gujarati food at its best !
Visited with family for gujarati thali. Food was tasty and it seemed as good as should be for express standards.
I had been visiting this restaurant for Gujarati thali from years n years. Nothing has changed. Ambience..Menu..taste..seating..service all is impeccable. In decent cost , mouth watering Gujju varieties. For all my out of Gujarat colleagues to have the Thali in Baroda means coming to MANDAP at Express Hotel.. Convenient prime location n parking makes it perfect.
If you want to have authentic Gujarati food then this is the restaurant to go for. All Gujarati food restaurants are usually fast in service and this is no different. The food is awesome and the ambience is amazing. This is a must experience if you are a non-gujarati.
