There must be over a thousands birds in total and the place is still well managed and maintains high standards of hygeine and cleanliness. Many of the birds have been adopted by local individuals and local institutions making the process even more efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing collections of birds are here! Well maintained. Fee to entry is very minimal, good to take children and bring the awareness of the birds and the species. Please do not feed birds, maintain silence, keep clean! Zoo will be opened from morning to 5.30pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised to see so many varieties of birds in this place, I would say a must visit place in Vadodara if you're interested in birds. The nameplates are also in place for newbies and children. Colours of some birds are so amazing that sometimes camera doesn't do justice to them. Although some cages are having very tiny grilles which make it a bit difficult to view the bird, forget getting a good click.
