★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is big lord Ganesha idol and can be seen from highway as well as railway between Lonavala and Pune. It is situated on small hilltop. Around 180 steps to climb to reach this imposing Ganesh idol. Parking is available for 2 wheelers ₹10 & 4 wheelers at just ₹25.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, amazing statue and you can have a great scenic view from top. Little tough for elders as it has quite number of steps. Near to main road. And for 2 wheeler parking its 10 only, but he charged 15/- from me as i cant read hindi numbers. Later realized he just cheated me.

Birla Ganpati Temple is around 25 KM from Pune. It is Located near Somatane Phata on Shirgaon Road.
This Statue is Designed in multiplication of 9 means 9 feet. This is Huge and is visible from Mumbai Pune Highway and near locations. Overall it is a good place.
Small Garden is also there for Kids. You can visit here at Sunset time, Sunset view is very good from here.
You can plan one day visit and clubbed with Pratishirdi / Dehu/ Alandi /Karla aai ekvira.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place .Birla Ganpati, a very large Mangal Murti Morya IDOL 72 foot is situated at Shirgaon about 26km from pune. Its route is very well known Pune- Nigdi- Dehu-Somatane. After crossing the Somatane toll plaza, take a first left & again take a left turn to reach Base parking of the Birla Ganapati. One the way there is a Ghoradeshwar. Near by places to visit are Prati Shirdi Shirgaon, Sant. Tukaram Karma bhumi Dehu. You can visit all these places in one day.
This Idol is made by Sarala Birla. Property is register by Jaishree Charity trust.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ganpati idol is mesmerizing. There is just a small temple kind of, ahead of the bigger statue. The last 100m stretch of the road is very narrow but you can take your car there and at the end of the road is 4 wheeler and 2 wheeler paid parking. This temple is situated on the way to prati shirdi temple. So both the temples can be clubbed. There are not many steps. Senior citizens will be able to climb easily.

In the outskirts of pune...relatively good distance from city for travellers.
There is one more temple near to it at toll plaza that is kalash temple.
If you coming here you can visit that too.
If you are sunrise or sunset lover then you must visit ghorawadi caves...
These all three place in same location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As soon as you enter the temple you will definitely feel there is a strong attraction here. The idol of the Goddess feels so powerful. Ultimately, one of the most charming temples in my list. The lord ganesha statue is very nice and attractive I ever seen before at any place. This place had a beautiful weather and also view from this place is amazing.
