★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at 3, Sudder St, Fire Brigade Head Quarter, New Market Area, Dharmatala, Taltala, Kolkata, West Bengal 700016, Blue Sky cafe is an unpretentious and inexpensive café on Sudder Street and is something of a landmark in the area. There is nothing remarkable about this place as far as appearances go (except that it is very crowded in the evenings), but they serve a big multicuisine spread-Continental, Indian and Chinese and a delightful assortment of shakes and fresh juice, burgers (try the chicken sunrise burger) and sandwiches. Try the classic grilled fish with lemon butter sauce or the cheese-laden chicken a la king, the boozy chocolate pudding with flame (flambéed basically) or the cheese omelette. It is best to stick to the continental fare here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding a good restaurant in this area was difficult. Only two restaurants were there who makes soup. However found various kinds of soups here. Though looking for thai soup. And that was not available in any of the nearby restaurants. Its like a local hotel, but has various kinds of foods.
Soup tastes were not much satisfactory though but was glad to have one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever I go to Kolkata, Blue Sky Cafe is a must go place for me to have their various delicious items. The price of each item is affordable, their service is great. They have a big menu and almost every item is delicious. Highly recommended.

Situated right in the centre of sudder street in the heart of esplanade, this is a crowd favourite among both the foreign tourists as well as Indians.. My personal favourites include the burgers, sandwiches, chicken pepper steak, chicken lasagne and the shepherd's pie.. The variety pan cakes are nice too.. Do not expect fine dining experience out here, just go for good food and you return with a happier tummy
