★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bengal Nagpur Railway Ground, is a big playing ground which comes under the judiciary of South, Eastern Indian Ralways Kharagpur. All kind of sport activities are done here, good place for kids and elderlies to walk an play. Durga puja is done here inside the ground and every year cricket and football tournaments are been held here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a huge play ground where many children use to play regularly , and this is a place mentioned in the autobiography of M.S.dhoni , as he has played in this ground in his struggling life , every year there was a cricket tournament organised by the chairman of kharagpur . At the summer times some people use to sit there at the evening time . This is one photo which I have luckly because the tournament was going on .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bengal Nagpur Railway Ground is one of the oldest grounds in Kharagpur which is meant for the general people. A large space which by the grace of Railways is protected from the growing Concrete Jungle. Lots and lots of children come here to play and have fun. Old people, medically unfit people , youth, women all gather here for different purposes. While the youth congregate here to play the old people come to spend time. While middle age men and women come to do their brisk walking the medically unfit walk to get fresh air. Railway's and other servicemen assemble to spend some time which is popularly known in India as Addabazi. Every Year during Durga puja some part of the Ground is used for Durga Puja which again is the main attraction of BNR Ground. By the way Bengal Nagpur Railway is no more Bengal Nagpur Railway. It is South Eastern Railway. But because the BNR Ground is very old and the name and BNR Ground is well accepted name it is still called as BNR Ground. I like to call it BNR Ground. What would you like to call? SER Ground. Well that's up to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place where I breathe. Everyday I go there for a walk. I would not say that place is clean but you can visit with family for a fresh air in the evening. Please avoid going in the day time. Scorching heat will not let you to breathe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually, I live straight in front of BNR ground . You can see my apartment from the ground . It's pretty large area . And I've not seen wheelchair parking areas there, but I guess u can park ur wheelchair at the back, there's playschool at back also .
