The Bombay Shirt Company, as the name suggests takes pride in its city of origin, Mumbai. Known for their custom-tailored shirts, BSC’s offerings are for the corporate crowd, yet anything but generic. BSC originally started out as an online store in 2012, extending to stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkatta, New Delhi and Dubai, and now, the label has found a new home. Carrying forward their minimalist urban aesthetic, the Bombay Shirt Company has a new space in SoHo, New York City. Vogue spoke to founder and creative director Akshay Narvekar about the big move.
