★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is yet one of the typical 'Puna style' market, the building from outside is quaint and dusty but once you step inside you get a variety of good quality dried fish stuff. The sellers are nice folks and are happy to serve you. (You may need to wear a mask, No - not for the smell of the dried fish but becos there is sooo much dust everywhere...) My request to the Puna Council is to kindly invest in health and safety of the building and surrounding and ensure adequate standards of cleanliness for the sellers and people in this store. God only knows what all the dust must have done to their lungs!!
