Mostly all trains halt.
Crowded but easily walkable on foot over bridge and on platforms.
Extra platform added a couple of years back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to daily commute through the station and thus I could say better about this. Well most of all trains have it's stop here and it is a main station of western line and so it is well equipped with drinking water, lift, escalator and many other facilities but are poorly maintained..!! Need to report it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Borivali station west market is big because of which it is crowded and congested, narrow streets are there on which bus rides. McDonald's is too far from station, but skywalk helps alot. Taxi and auto stands are there. Ticket booking counter is downstairs. There is separate counters for express ticket bookings and normal ticket bookings. Express trains also take a hault at this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station is really clean and railway staff keeps on cleaning it as per their daily routine and well maintained, ambience is quite nice
Food is also available here
You can have normal food on station and about 500 meters range you can have good food as Jumboking is also here and juice shops, varieties stores are also here.
Waiting area is also nice but not Air conditioned
A small Amul canteen is also here.
Overall station is nice whenever you come early here you can easily kill your time here ( because you don't have much to do before your train arrives).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Borivali station is one of the best railway station in Mumbai. You will get trains easily from here towards Churchgate & Virar. Station is well connected and maintained very well. Cleanliness is great and nearby market is also good. From here BEST buses are available for most of the suburbs. Footovers, subways, escalators & lifts are available. Number of toilets should be increased & parking space needed. Passenger & Mail trains runs frequently from this route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the Major stations of western suburbs. Many long distance trains have a stop here. Even Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express trains were given stops(both up and down) here to reduce crowding at Mumbai Central. For passengers, it is a great help as it saves lots of time and travel all the way to and fro BCT.
