★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name Barapukur suggests that not very far ago there was a huge pond.Very cleverly the pond has been shrunk.Now the area has been changed to a dirty garage that rents cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A playground by the pond... It's really good and locals gather around to play cricket and football... The ground could have been better if the dumping ground wasn't there... It actually gives a negative vibe to the area... Apart from sports people takes immense pleasure swimming in the pond... It used to be clean and lacks maintenance now... However this ground organises annual night football and cricket tournaments which is been of great success since its inception...
