★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disclaimer : - This review is only about the community hall run by Bose Pukur Parijat club. The club has many other great cultural aspects and social activities which is not covered in this review.
There is community hall run by this club. The hall can be booked for different occasions like marriage, birthday etc. It is a three storied building. The ground floor can be used for program / gathering, and two upper floor can be used for eating arrangements.
Here are few pros and cons
Pros.
LOCATION - at a Bose pukur / Kasba area, inside the locality. Near Kasba police station. Easy rood direction and well known place.
CAR PARKING - a near by ground ( within 50 meters) is used for parking cars.
COST - booking cost of the hall is relatively cheaper than other community halls.
Cons.
NARROW LANE / TRAFFIC - the lane is narrow one and suffers from traffic jam when two large vehicles from opposite direction comes. Mini buses also run in this road and sometimes create chaos in front of the hall entrance.
SMALL AREA - The inside area of the hall is small. Seating for lunch and dinner with table and chairs can accommodate maximum 60 people in a floor.
NOT PLANNED / DECORATED - The hall is not decorated well for social gatherings. The staircase is high inclined with high steps. Not comfortable for aged people / ladies wearing saree.
NO OPEN PLACE - The program area is limited to 3 floors (G+2) only. No open place / garden / ground. So it become congested with invited people easily.
Note - The place was made to be a club and not a community hall. It is a medium cost hall for accommodating up to 70-100 people (at a time) / up to 350 people (at batches) for some occasion.
