★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst Publication house to i have ever talked to, i called up and the phone redirected to some gupta and he seems to be oldies type by his voice and has no sense of talking to customer, i have enquired for 50 books and asked about transporting to it my bookstore in Saket delhi, He shouted me like he was doing some Ehsaan over me, Prefer to buy their books from distributors rather than directly.
WORST PUBLICATION and WORST PEOPLE there.

I sent in a proposal for writing a book, got accepted.. then never received any call, mail or anything. I contacted the so called “CEO” and the other authorities, but.. the way they respond is just so darn horrible.
Can’t even imagine reading their books..
Period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I have written a book for them and have lived to regret that decision. I should have either worked with another publisher or got the book published independently. If they have approached you to write a book, turn down the proposal immediately. You will save yourself plenty of bother. They are unprofessional, incompetent and do not understand or want to understand what goes into writing a book and how to respect an author and their work. The whole process of working on the book with them was extremely painful and I have told them very clearly that I will never work with them again. BPB is a tea shop morphing as a publishing house. You will be better off taking your work else where or publishing independently. All the best.

Please do not consider working with them ever or working at BPB. It is built to exploit authors and employees and to maximise their profitability. You would be better off finding a more geniune position where you will be valued and PAID. I stopped working here 2 days ago because they refused to compensate me for my months work as they told me that if I didn't get 2 authors contracted to write a book, I will be terminated and will not be given salary and yes, it was not this way for other employees. It was just me and this unethical construed manipulation exists in this firm and its even more transparent than anywhere else. Mukesh Jha being one of the imbisscles that made me agree to this special deal. Lack of professionalism, unethical standards of operation and motive to only create profil at the expense of employees, customers and authors. now you know! I just want the readers to know that I am nowhere benefiting by posting this review. Please don't consider working here, you will be exploited. The rest is up to you.
