While this is the oldest surviving Sweets shop in the area and is still a family managed shop but the workers are all outsiders who work with little or no supervision. This reflects in inconsistent quality of food. Almost all traditional sweets and savories of this region like Vada and Kachori is available but served in non traditional manner.
A must try if you are travelling on the Mandi Joginder nagar highway as probably this is the only traditional shop you will encounter to experience the traditional food of the region. Not really recommended if you plan to visit Mandi city as there are many traditional shops in the vicinity of Bhootnath temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Kachoris, soft and flavourful. Do try them with the hot aloo chana or simply with achar or chutney.
We also tried some dry sweets like khajur, balushahi and rasbhari. Taste is authentic.
