Brindavan Palace built by Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Narayan Dev . It's at the River Bank of Mahendra Tanaya with beautiful landscape as well as a picnic spot. It's one km away from my residence.

A historical place with lots more to explore about parala maharaja's lifestyle.

No neat and clean.No proper maintaining, but it is good place to visit once with family and friends. Request to Govt. to appoint sweepers to clean the assets to show our heritage for future generation. No place like a BN Palace nearby area.

Once I've visited this place during my school days for picnic. After many years now I came to this palace.

Brundabana Palace located at Paralakhemundi of Gajapati district, Odisha is the fort of Gajapati rulers where they used to stay. Nowadays the property is under the protection of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. This palace was built for a purpose of permanent residential abode for the Gajapati Kings of Paralakhemundi belonging to the Ganga Dynasty. It is mainly used during summer. It is situated on the bank of river Mahendratanaya surrounded by thick teak trees. The palace is three stories including an underground floor. There an underground connection to it with the main palace of Maharaja. The art engraved in this palace is worth seeing. Now it is under the control of Dept. of Tourism, Govt of Odisha. There is an orchard near to the palace. People of Paralakhemundi and it is nearby towns use to visit this place during winter for the picnic as well as for its scenic beauty.
