Hotel Broadway needs no introduction...located at Chadni Chowk this heritage hotel has it's own charm and history. They have recently introduced a Sunday Special Brunch menu along with a glass of Draught Beer at a Price of 595/- only for Non-veg & 495/- only for vegetarians. My personal favourite was Fish Fingers, Chilly mustard fish, chicken Tikka & Thai curry.
The staffs were friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable.
Overall it was an amazing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the popular place around area if you're looking for good food and drinks but the thing is it is too busy and staff is inadequate as compared to crowd. If looking for a enjoyable evening go some place else you'll find better places than this if you go to esplande Or central avenue Or park street not far for there.

Listen to live music, relish the beer & have some amazing filling food at this heritage property. The high-ceiling ambience give a proper "purono Calcutta" vibes and makes you stick to your seat and indulge in hours of conversations with your mates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location. Iconic hotel. But you to rescent management change the maintenance is very poor. Beds and pillows are in pathetic condition. require immediate replacement.
Furniture is antique but giving way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute treat. The best place to be in the heart of the city. It is a heritage lodge and restaurant. The food is also very tasty. Basa fish fry was the best with their signature sauce I had it in the recent times. Also the mustard chilli chicken was awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed 13 days at the Broadway hotel in February 2022, 8 of which were due to quarantine covid! I can say that I know well the hotel Broadway!
The hotel dates from 1937 and it's a vintage atmosphere that you will find there. The rooms could use a refresh but the ceiling height and the surface are very pleasant. Obviously the windows are not double glazed and as the Indians like to honk their horns, even at night, and as there is the invitation to prayer from the local mosque at 5am, you can guess what it gives! The wifi works quite well.
The bathroom is Indian style with buckets and jugs, but there is hot water.
In short, the room has nothing of a palace but it is in its original state and we feel well that we are in India.
The staff is quite efficient and friendly, even if some of them are a bit insistent to get a tip.
In any case, the price of the rooms is very reasonable, which makes the hotel Broadway a very good price/quality ratio.
It's never nice to stay in quarantine somewhere but the staff of the hotel take care of me and make my stay not so bad. Thanks to them.
Note that the bar on the ground floor is in the same atmosphere with live concerts on Sunday nights.
