★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By Loom is the best boutique store in Kolkata for traditional yet designer saris. They have fabulous designs and the best part, the ambience of the cute store. Have been a byloom shopper mainly from the exhibitions but had the pleasure of experiencing shopping from the actual store itself for the first time. For me it was divine. I went around and saw quite a few sari stores in the vicinity and even in Gariahat but these guys steal the show for any sari lover who knows her saris!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my wife out to Byeloom, just for their Mangsho - Luchi. And by the visuals of her being so content and happy after that wholesome meal, I can very well say that the money was very well spent.
I love it when I see a happy face after a good meal. Me Happy. ?

My annual pilgrimage to Kolkata is incomplete without a trip here and my modus operandi is to have the good lady on face time while the various pieces are opened and modelled for her to pick & choose. Have not had a miss in several years of doing it. Picked up a bunch of sarees and a few stoles for gifting. Excellent collection of both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Byloom canteen serves one of the best luchi mangsho combo ever! Their fish roll is a must try too. No nonsense cafe with just the right amount of crowd.Definitely visit if you are near Hindustan Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some pretty things available. Stoles and kantha bags are nice. Abeer cotton sarees very value for money. Other sarees pretty and exclusive, but expensive. Haven't had a chance to try out the canteen yet.

Sharees are too good, but costly. Avg, 1500 to 3000 over the normal price. But the product is fantastic.
