C. M. Science College is the best College of DARBHANGA. C. M. Science College has a glorious past. It was established in the year 1938. This is the 80th year of its existence. Rapid progress through the last 80 years has been a part of its legacy. In these years, we have made rapid progress in building up intellectual capital as well as state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our faculty team comprises more than 29 full-time teachers and many visiting faculty. The faculty and staff are committed to nurturing the young students, inculcating in them a sense of greater sensitivity and ability to compete in the changing environment. However, while enhancing their competencies, they are reminded of their social responsibilities. Thus, today, C. M. Sc. College, Darbhanga has emerged as an institution of excellence and a model college due to its continuous efforts to remain in the cutting edge of knowledge. It was re-accredited with “A” Grade by NAAC in the year 2016. The College has not only continued its academic pursuit by producing high quality students and research, but also expanded into various other streams of education such as Community College to become a comprehensive centre of quality education in eastern India.

As I was student of this college I would say that this is one of the most famous and prestigious college in darbhanga and in mithila region under LNMU. It is only for science students, it provides courses like intermediate(+2), Bechlor and master degree for various stream such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botany, Zoology, English, Hindi, Maithili, Sanskrit etc. Faculty of this college is very good. But sometimes behavior of college staff become very rude.

Best college to study in Darbhanga. It has the best faculty for all of the subjects. Also the infrastructure of the college is really good.
