The Assessing Officer wanted me to appear in person with all details of my crypto transactions, plus my wallet details and wallet balance as-on the end of that financial year. I approached the firm and I was provided with all the documentation required to submit to the Income Tax Department quickly. I was provided with necessary instructions and made aware of my rights in such situations which helped me go confidently in front of the Assessing Officer and sort out the matter.
