Simple place with good food. This has a feel of a mess but the food was served quickly and we enjoyed it very much. Worth visiting for a quick casual lunch. Not a place for meeting friends, but a quick lunch is best when you are bored of cooking and are in the locality.

Good seafood is tough to find in Pune. Cafe goa is on point with its food. I loved the rawa fry fish and prawns.

Legit Goan food in Viman Nagar. Cafe Goa literally lives up to its name with a nifty Goan menu that's as well curated as its humble ambiance that can be summed up with with wall-mounted art (paintings) and tasteful Goan-folklore music. Though most reviews suggest choosing 1 of the 5 thalis, we went and would recomend the Γ  la carte route. The surmai (seer fish) tawa fry beats the garlic fish fry, hands down despite the latter seemingly sounds more fancy. The staff is cordial and well-trained, adding to the dining experience.

Quantity is terrible. It's a total rip off. 330rs curry made to serve only 1 with 3-4 prawns in it. There are so many negative reviews about quantity on Zomato yet the restaurant won't budge.

Cafe Goa is a cozy little cafe located in Faith center, near NEXA showroom, Viman nagar. They have limited menu and specialises in Goan cuisine. They serve variety of fish thali, fish fry, fish curry, chicken curry in different masalas. Here's what we ordered: Squid Rava: Marinated squid coated with rava and deep fried. It was well seasoned. It was crispy and so tasty. Chicken Cafreal Biryani: Succulent chicken pieces prepared in cafreal masala. It was totally different from the biryani I ever had. It was mildly spicy and tasted good. Chicken Vindaloo: I had with steamed rice. It was medium spicy, fiery red, tangy and went well with rice. Overall it's a good place to try Goan food in Pune.

Visited this place for a dinner. They have 5 types of fish thalis on the menu with different combinations of prawns and surmai fish along with rice, solkadhi and salad. Taste was very good. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Solkadhi was also flavourful. Rice was well cooked and went well with gravy which was bit tangy. The place is cosy with open kitchen. Service is prompt and fast. Overall, you will get the feeling that you are eating fish thali in Goa. Must visit place for sea food lovers.

Absolutely loved it!!! For those craving home cooked Goan food, this is the place to eat at. The Surmai fish thali was a delight to both ready and look at. The Chicken Xacuti is served with 2pavs and so is the Egg bhurji Xacuti. The Sol Kadi is freshly made and so yummy. The portions are good. The service is great too. This place might be small but it's value for money. P.S. They play authentic Goan music too.
