★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasons for disliking
1) They said that they will accept only cash. No UPI, no card payment. This only created a negative outset at the beginning.
2) The masala omlette we ordered was very very plain. I doubt what masala means for them.
3) The veg burger we ordered was ok, still not very impressive. The crispiness of the patty was missing.
Overall, it was a total disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good old cafe nearby girgaum chowpatty. They provide you variety of food at place, Indian, continental etc.. in alcohols, only beer and whiskey & breezers are available. Also you'll find some shakes and sweet dishes in menu. Food was great and ambience was really good as well. Hindi bollywood songs were playing on background with full volume. Big TV for cricket lovers, and a decent crowd as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Ideal is ideal for having a quick drink after your long busy day or basically just to unwind yourself after a long day.
The place has dishes where egg is the primary ingredient. You do get vegetarian dishes, no meat or fish dishes though. We had chilli egg manchurian, which is their take on gobi manchurian. I found it salty for my liking. We also ordered cheese bread toast and egg noodles. The cheese bread toast was impressive; noodles were average. The cutlery was pathetic and I have seen street vendors providing better forks. The music being played was still loud that it became annoying to most of the customers there. The fact they don't take UPI payments neither cards was another letdown. These days most people don't even take their wallets and go around only with their mobile phone, so this was a disappointment.
Again the place is worth for its location, otherwise it can be given a miss.

This is one of the oldest irani gem, small cafe, old retro feel. Only cash, 90s Songs.. old style billing. Easy to locate, Opposite to Chowpatty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular cafe in the area, just opposite of girgaon chowpaty. Crowded in weekend. Veg and non veg both options available. Hard drinks available too. Food quality and quantity both were good enough. We tried Panner lazzat with butter naan and Schezwan hakka noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find this place very well maintained. Veg only, Beer only, Cash only restaurant. They have a old school CD jukebox where they play bollywood classic. Few beers down and you fall in love with the music. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a vibe. Good food quantity. There's a jukebox for your favourite music. 25Rs for every music. Please ask for Mr. Pankaj to serve you. He is friendly and has very good waiter qualities. You must visit it if you have a spot for Irani Cafes in Mumbai. Bombai Nagariya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I regularly visit this cafe. The staff is experienced and well informed, the place gives a combination feeling of retro and modern. The main attraction is juke box where one can play music of their choice. The place offers wide rage of food and beverage choices with a great view of chowpatty. Parking is a concern but a pay and park facility is available 5 minutes away. Average Price for 2 people is approx 2000 rupees. Do try the garlic bread.
