★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very old Irani restaurant on Karve Road. Here you get good Irani style chai ani Bun Mhaska. You will get other stuff too, but it is known for its chai and bun mhaska.
This place used to take me to the nostalgia when I was a kid and used to roam around with my dad on Sunday mornings. Cafes like these were empty. People use to occupy one table, order breakfast & tea and sit for long hours reading newspaper. It was slow, calm and relaxed view.
The typical marble top tables, heavy wooden art deco styled chairs were a part of the decor in these cafes.
Cafe Paradise has renovated themselves during the lockdown time. New signage is up, walls look brighter. The old dark yet friendly corners are vanished. But the chai and bun mhaska tastes the same.
I liked the way they have retained the old electrical switches and fan regulators. That reminds now of the legacy of Cafe Paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to hangout with friends and colleagues. The place serves some really good dessert options which includes cakes and sweets. The sandwich is also good and the egg varieties are a must try. Not so much of expertise in making chicken dishes and the biryani was a disappointment. Otherwise is a good option to visit if you are in Garware college area.

NEVER EVER ORDER A POHA.
I'm born and bought up in Pune, have been to many restaurants, cafes, roadsideshops but I have never experience such pathetic quality of poha anywhere. Please don't even think of trying out poha. I have been here before for bun maska and tea which is ok but not that extraordinary.
