★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience was not very great (at least the area where I was seated). The food was okayish but the quantity was very limited. After a while, there was no drinking water. While leaving the venue, the inside of the building reeked of pee. I dunno what was I expecting but this wasn't it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have seen this place since my birth in Kolkata, am so attached to this beautiful, well kept jewel of place in the city. Must say, it has become more organized, safe and picturesque over years. Love to go back every time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accompanied a friend who is a member here! The ambience and the breeze was wonderful! Sat outside for snacks before going to another restaurant for dinner! They have 4 restaurants within the club which prepare different cuisines and hence makes this a great dinner place
The place has an old charm to itself and the interiors are also done up in the same manner. The food is super tasty and the view is superb!
Favs : Sautéed vegetables, garlic naan and vegetable tartrazine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful old world charm at this club. One of the few where rowing is the official sport. Reasonable dress code for men. Alert and helpful staff with prompt service. Food from multiple kitchens in a wide variety is served at the most affordable prices. Liquor is equally cheap considering Calcutta has the highest prices for in store liquor. A very heavy snack and drink evening for three cost about Rs 3000.

The food here tastes amazing. No words for the ambiance, can be seen in the pictures attached.
Celebrities visits here frequently, you may witness one.
They often hosts many functions.
