★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a hidden gem of a preschool, Cambridge Montessori (CM) is. I was actually recommended this school by another parent when my Dear Son (DS) current school at the time was closing for good.
My DS falls in love with CM the first day when he saw all the well-organized learning toys and the spacious playground. His fine motor skills are improving by drawing, tracing, and art works they do every day. He also can focus more and sit nicely during circle time because of all the fun interactions with teachers. He will show me his drawings and arts when I pick him up. He will sing the songs he learned that day on our way home. At recess, the teachers will arrange structure plays like tags, copycat games for all the kids to participate in order to develop spatial awareness and social skills.
I am thankful for all the hard works CM teachers are doing for my DS. They observe his weaknesses and pay extra close attention to his needs. They ignore bad behaviors by not giving him the attention he wants and praise him with good behaviors. I feel relieved knowing that he will be in good hands when I wake him up every morning and seeing the sparks of happiness in his eyes.
