★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Dr. Naphade after visting 2 other doctors. My daughter's surgery happened in Bombay in a reputed hospital. How I so wish Dr. Naphade had done the surgery. The Bombay doctor didnt even consider saving my 7 year old's amputated fingertip. He said they as rule don't attach fingertips. But Dr. Naphade told us it is possible to attach an amputated fingertip with some chance of success. I would have liked to take the chance but the very experienced Bombay doctor didn't even offer me the option.
Dr. Naphade handled most of our post operative care. He patiently answered all our questions and explained the injury and related future options in detail. He helped put our minds at ease even though we as parents are filled with regret with the course of action chosen by our Bombay doctor.
As Dr. Naphade advised, please never accept a less than satisfactory course of action suggested by any doctor without taking a second opinion.
I would definetly recommend Dr. Naphade.
