I am Lt Payal Gupta , an alumna of Carman School (1994-2008). Recently , myself with team of other five lady officers went on an adventurous journey to circumnavigate the world through ocean. We started our voyage on 10 sept 2017 and took 254 days to complete it . The name of our project is Navika Sagar Parikrama. The circumnavigation was unique as it was done on a 17 meter sail boat , which sails through wind energy without using any kind of engine .
Interesting Facts: We are the first Navy to do such kind of project . We are first women in Asia to circumnavigate the world on a sail boat .
Aim : Promote women empowerment all over the world , Promote ocean sailing in India , promoting use of renewable energy and Promote Indian Navy at world platform .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though infrastructure is limited (no grassy ground only concrete ground) but you get very good education here. Top faculty and good discipline. School has completed more than 50 years from its inception. Apart from exellent academics school is also famous for its extra curricular activities and sports that is an all round development is what you get. I have studied here from kg to class 12 and I wish classes could be more airy.
