Have studied here since grade 5 and have always found the education imparted to be very useful

The football ground is pretty good..but the toilet are not hygenic the swimming pool is pretty good... computer lab have pretty old computers still running on Windows XP..the worst part is you cannot play cricket in the PT period as it is a dangerous sport according to the sports teacher Mr.Rawat..the quality of school is degrading over the years..there is a lack of discipline...the teaching staff is not also as per the expectations...the Dom is good but still lacks discipline...towards the east side the wall is not very high and anyone can get out of school... though there are cameras installed now..the sports room doesn't not have to much sports equipment left ...the canteen has transformed into almost a restaurant...NIOS studies can also be done from the school...if you break a test tube in the chemistry lab than you have to just buy a test tube and Haan it over to the chemistry lab..the tubes for burners in the chemistry lab are not safe at all...the outside of the tube chought fire right in front of me while me and my friends were doing the experiment and Mr.Neeraj Sharma the lab assistant was trying to stop the fire with my notebook...the chemistry lab even sometimes run out of water..and few amerters and voltmeters do not show the right result than you have to get it changed by the lab assistant..the biology lab though I just went two or three times there it is pretty small and hardly 12 students can sit there at once comfortably..there is a library period but last year in my 12 standard we just went 7-8 times to library and that time to we can not ask for a book as it was under reconstruction...the worst part about the school is the ask every year money for the school magazine but hardly gives it once in 2-3 years and that too the no of pages of the magazine is decreasing every time...the teachers by mistake right any students name under any article given by any students... at least in last years.. the auditorium floor is almost broken and if you fall by mistake either while playing basketball or indoor cricket you are surely going to get hurt...there is also an art room where I never went because I never went their...the Carman football academy is pretty good though with nice coaches and world class exposure for the players by playing to much tournaments...and at the end jUst a few days back A very important member of the staff Mr.Sudesh Gurung passed away...He was the main reason for the discipline in last few years...May his soul rest in peace...

It was best school once but now days it was degrading

I have been an alumni of this school well we should know how this school has reached to the top where students are achievers not only in the state but also in the all India level in sports, also now the students of the school with the help of the experts have represented the country in many sports. The faculty also comprises of teachers who are a part of the U.N, who have help producing excellent results and toppers of various subjects, also the newspapers frequently cover the students activites and our principal who is the president of the Dehradun ICSE schools.

Huh! Well I joined the school in KG in 2004 (i think) and left the school after 12th in 2017. In these 13years i have seen many changes in the school (good and bad). Well for the plus side the school has a large field , swimming pool as well as a big auditorium. When i left the school a new bigger library was also being made and the canteen was also going through some reconstruction. The labs are kinda old though during my time they upgraded a few computers in computer lab and new equipment was bought for other labs as well. The biology lab was also in the middle of shifting to a bigger room but don't get too excited as labs are not maintained properly(at least during my time). The faculty like every other school is a mixed bag although i feel the school find it hard to attract good faculty as it is away from the city where the best schools of the city are located. Sports facility is meh! the equipment is old. They have started Carman Football Academy(?) which does get a good enrollment and i have heard it's good. Extra curricular are okay though in my opinion the sound system of auditorium needs updating as during intra school events you can hardly hear someone speaking on mic( especially during debates and dramas). Also the school used to charge us for school magazine even though they would print it like once in 2-3 years. I think the parents need should talk to school authority regarding this as it is a scam and school can be taken to court for charging for something which they don't provide. And yeah farewell parties are conducted during the day time from morning 11am. I mean atleast they can do it from the afternoon till evening. Also no farewell for the class 10th graduation.

Hi! I studied here from 1995 to 2006 (class 1 - 10th). And beleive me this school always made me awe in admiration. I had seen its swimming pool construction in 1997 and at that time it was a big thing. It had a computer room in 1995!! Also a small area where it had different types of pets like ducks, turkey, rabbits, birds, etc. It use to have 2 dogs with whom we use to play in lunch break . I think one was a German shepherd name sultan.. we use to play "fetch ". Big playing ground, basket ball court. It had a few trees of guavas. Our principal mam Mrs. Jeniffer A Kumar was the best. I loved the canteen. I always go back to these memory lanes and thank God for the same. I tried to visit the school one day. But I they din't allow for that without prior permission. It's a sad thing. Anyways cheers.
