"Carmel"... This name is very much sufficient to describe myself which taught me how to live. Talking about the school,this is thebest girls school of the town. I had been spent my 14 years with this institution. The school is so good and safe. The teaching and non teaching staffs are good and caring. Teachers treat the students as their children. And they look after each and every student. When you spend your 3 to 4 years in this institution you will feel that this is your second home where teachers are your parents and classmates are your siblings. Spending my 14 years in this school, it has been my one of the favorite place where I feel relaxed and happy. Whenever I used to be demotivated the teachers supported me alot. For me they were not my teachers, they were my guardians. When u are on the wrong way, they will support you a lot. And they take special care of students. Talking about the principals of the school, they are so good and caring. They stand with you if something is very good and appreciate you . I miss this school alot.... ? I wish my school days would come back. ?? Last I want to say.... 'Once a Carmelite, always a Carmelite'...

Now a days the quality and timing of teaching has deteriorated. I think the college administration has to look after and review. Upto 5th it was ok but after classes, experience is not good.

Carmel School, started on 21st January 1941, then known as St. Mary’s School in Civil Lines, Gorakhpur, is a Christian English Medium School, affiliated to CISCE Board on 7th August 2005. Carmel School is administered by the Carmel Sadan Society of U.P. in the Roman Catholic Church. The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic Bishop of Gorakhpur. Carmel School has always aimed for being upward and onward. There is always a black sheep in a family, in a friend circle and ofcourse many black sheeps in school. So, the school is not to be blamed for the mischief done by the students. I have witnessed the love, care, friendship, sisterhood, unity, being responsible, keeping self respect as one's first priority in my school i.e. "Carmel School". Principal and teachers keep on pampering us when we are on wrong path. And the selfless help from helping staffs.

Carmel is good for the primary students. From class 6th onwards, this school is very horrible at studies, the teachers don't teach they just do reading, the classroom look like studying in a government school, washrooms are very untidy with no handwash or soap. only those who have learnt any particular co-curricular activity can take part in activities so that the school can use the talent of the students in inter school competitions etc. Unexperienced staff members, even experienced staff members and teachers can teach properly. The teachers are very biased toward a student who come first, and others are left like that. Nowadays very much pressure has been given to the students. Good experience till class 5th but now having bad experience in this school...
