★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had taken my home UPS and battery for servicing. Was advised that the UPS was damaged, and a repair is not worth it. And better go for a new UPS.
Now the only reason for buying a UPS was to keep the battery going, as there was not much usage otherwise given lack of stay. The shopkeeper tried to sell me the best and new one in the house. But I told the shopkeeper that I would not take a costly one - just the minimal one is good to have - as the only reason to buy the UPS was to keep the battery alive. Else there was no other purpose as the place was being sparingly used for now.
In the meanwhile they had realised that the battery was already damaged and was not holding charge even post charging. The same was not informed to me. Only when I had paid up for the new UPS (btw I didn’t even bargain with them for the price of the UPS - just paid the asked price of 4000 rupees), the worker in the shop accidentally let it slip (that too to the electrician whom I had taken along for the repairs) that the battery is loosing charge in matter of 3-4 hours. I still said let us try charging the battery and try once more. Of course it didn’t work.
Now when I tried to ask for a refund, the shopkeeper refused to refund my money. He gave some lame reason that he cannot do that because it was a UPI payment and the money has gone straight to the account.
So now I have landed up with a UPS which is of no use for me. Would never recommend such a shop for any dealings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience in getting inverter repaired. Changed Capacitor, resistor, diode and charged INR 1200. Also, the power switch of the inverter is not working post the reapir and everytime trying to reach them either no. is not reachable or disconnecting saying wrong no. I would never recommend anyone for getting stuffs repaired in the shop.
