★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst bank branches I have ever experienced. The staff is extremely rude, to the point of shouting at customers who are illiterate for as little as asking help in filling a deposit slip. Staff also harasses people who have small amounts of money saved and want to make deposits saying things like "Why have you come here with this little money? Have you seen how much money other customers come with? Have you come to waste my time? Get lost from here. Don't come again and again to make deposits and waste time." or like an hour before lunch they'll tell these people "I am going for lunch. Go away and come after 4 or 5". Like this. 2 months ago, an old lady came into the branch to take her pension around 1.45 p.m. There was still 15 minutes on the clock left to lunch break and no other customers were there. I was in a corner counting the money I had withdrawn. The bank officer however was in a foul mood, and he shouted on the poor old lady "Is this the time to come to bank? Get out of here and come back after 4 when I am free." the poor lady looked at every officer sitting in that bank, but no one, not even a single authority figure even attempted to intervene. The manager was sitting comfortably in his AC cabin which was only mere 2 or 3 feet away. I guess not wanting to intervene and get his staff angry.
This is going on for years now and the bank's leadership/management is practically absent on site and the rude complacent staff is having a full run of the place.
I think a customer, regardless of whether he/she rich or poor, young or old, literate or illiterate, whether they speak your language or not, are owed respect. You can't treat them like dirt, but unfortunately this is what happens openly in this branch.
Sadly, at this point in my life I am powerless to do anything about it. Writing an honest, bad review is all I can do right now.
