Centre Of Education And Distance Learning(CEDL)  established under act 1973 with the aim of imparting higher knowledge in Medical, Engineering and Computer Technology to the aspiring boys and girls so that they can emerge as competent Medical, Engineers and Technologists of repute. The CEDL committed to impart quality education in different fields of Medical, Engineering & Computer Applications. The unique education methodology & compact, integrated short term correspondence courses shall be of great advantage to all those who look forward to achieve early success in life.

Vision & Objectives

It will be created with vision to have an edge in fast emerging field of Medical, Technical, Vocational, Computer, education, & skill based education. The vision to be the leader in development of quality education and impart training in the field of all areas and also establish standards in the countries as premier institution for training & education related recognized, certificate & diploma level programmers.

CEDL has setup multipurpose (Information & Training Centre) ITC in rural & under privileged areas of India. The program will be implemented in all the states to obtain registered significant result. The ITC will be engaged in human resource development activities in their own specialized areas of technology, engineering, teaching technology, traditional & entrepreneurship development with emphasis to create employment generators rather than more employment seekers. They will also play vital role to upgrade knowledge and also knowledge based skills of professionals in related allied industries. The CEDL Certificate /diploma/PG diploma programs in Engineering & Computer programs are more flexible, more innovative & much less expensive than the traditional, old pattern & long term programs of others institutions.

We always believe the fact that theoretical knowledge is not enough unless the person is well versed and well equipped with technical know how and also function of the concerned industry based on these facts. Considering all these concepts in our education system we should design such a course model which is to be understand easily by our students so that they can use it in future development

Central aim to the educational philosophy of CEDL concept is to dialectical link between theory and practice, the student’s own work environment provides an ideal ground where theory could be meaningfully combined with practice through Assignments, Case Studies, Laboratory-Oriented Projects, Work Experience, Internship, Thesis-Seminar and Dissertation. These evaluation components and courses search for evidence of self-study, time planning, conceptual understanding and application of the concepts in a real-life situation, self-reliant articulation, enthusiasm for, awareness of and participation in new pedagogy. One of the distinctive features of this system is the complete formalization of pursuit of education at the work-learning environment. An organization creates a work learning environment by providing academic sponsorship for the candidates as well as infrastructural facilities such as place for conducting formal classes/mentor interactions/examination apart from library, computer and laboratory access. 
The curriculum of the CEDL concept will be the most contemporary and innovatively designed and to be developed in association with reputed academicians and experts. CEDL will provide comprehensive study package specially designed for self-learning on the concessional rates. It is free for SC/ST/OBC and weaker group. CEDL also organizes workshops meant to develop practical skills. Students will be encouraged to attend these skill development workshops. Students will be required to accomplish pre-defined tasks in these workshops, for proving the acquirement of planned skills.

Students will be required to go for compulsory research work module as designated by CEDL. They will perform all duties in designated industry similar to working as a professional. Training/ internship/ research work will be arranged in real industry environment.

The examinations serve to finally assess and certify the students understanding of the subject and level of knowledge and skill development too. At the end of every academic & calendar year the examinations will be conducted by concerned institution with the support of CEDL. The mode of examinations will include subjective/objective and online questions as per the requirement of the programme of study.
