★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Chalu Chinese' is a treasure for people who love Indo-Chinese fusion. There are VERY FEW quality Chinese restaurants and 'Chalu Chinese' is one of them. I liked their food items. If you are looking for delicious Chinese dishes, you must try this place. The staff is very friendly and polite. I went with my friends and we liked both veg and non-veg food.
Regardless of delicious food and varieties, surprisingly this place is not so popular.
After so long Surtis have a very good Chinese restaurant in surat as 'Chalu Chinese', especially after the unfortunate closure of some of the really good Chinese restaurants such as Chinese room (Nanpura), Mainland China (Ghod dod road), Ming's kitchen (Piplod) etc.
Try this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tastewise food is good. But service is very very slow. Even tissue are not provided on the table. We had to ask for it. They make customers waited for long for food to serve. Staff was very less. Only two chefs were present in the kitchen to handle all the customer..one chef for veg and one chef for non veg. Very poor service. Even the quantity of the food is very low in comparison to rate they are charging.
It's better to visit wok on fire to have good Chinese food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a blend of a multi-cuisine restaurant. they serve oriental cuisine (chinese, burmese and thai) with a desi Indian touch. they offer fresh seafood, which is unlike in many restaurants (as seafood in many restaurants smells fishy) and also the menu is quite big (it’s hard to find what you looking for, because of its fancy dishes name).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their preparations are tasty but overpriced. Staff is courteous too.. They don't serve water. Even if you buy their bottled water they don't have glasses to drink it from, which seems very awkward. Over all I wouldn't recommend anybody to throw a party from here but been there atleast half a dozen times till now...

The best thing is they have open kitchen which can be seen from your dining space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste was really awful. The oil in kung pao chicken was disgusting. Infact prawns noodles had a stingy smell like a rotten and foul meat. The worst part: prawns were almost uncooked. Will never come back again. Horrible experience. Experienced a food disaster. ?
