It was originally a holding of the Sodha Parmars but was conquered from Jagsio Parmar by the Khachar Kathis who made it one of their principal seats. Most of the Khachar Kathis trace their origin to the Chotila house. Chotila was acquired by the Kathis in 1566 AD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest and caring staff.. good behavior that likes every traveller. Specially a polite repoes win hearts. Also a clean and neat campus. Biggest residential campus in the town. Also a budget place that attract traveller's. We got a room for 600 rupees of 4 beds. Suitable for all family friendly group friendly. I will strongly suggest this place
