★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It will be a nightmare if u make the mistake for opting this institute. No proper management. Specifically for BBSR branch.. They people are sitting there only to snacth ur money. All they care is about the course fee.
Here are some of the problems.
1- The Branch Head cum Supervisor is behaving like an Idiotic Fool.
2- No proper management of classes. They make u sit in any classes as per their convenience.
3- Old teaching methodology. 5 hours long classes don't worth that . Same could be get covered in 3 hours. Faculties are just Ok type. I will be neutral about it.
4- No proper counseling and non proper preparation methodology. Even there is no one whom u can go and have few words about ur academics and non accademics too.
5- After the course completion their job is done. Ur not going to be the part of thier anything. Even u can't attend an extra class if of u had doubt on a specific subject.
6- Behaviour of BBSR CHANKYA BRANCH is extremely rude and .Managment is not serious about academics and result oriented practice .Such type ofnon proffesional attitude is not acceptable.
Think twice before u get in their trap. They neither worth ur valuable time or head earned money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I express my immense pleasure to get "Chanakya Institute " in bhubaneswar, My home town. It brings well versed and exprienced faculties from different corners of the country to Our city. The core concepts of Upsc syllabus is being simplified by faculties, more particularly the mark fetching points for mains exam given to us in black and white. The faculties takes care of answer framing technique from the day one of the class, as main contributes 70% of final selecton. The best part of the institute is students are being evaluated with regular tests.
I must say Its a great initiative to break the stereotype of "Delhi is must to become IAS".
Last but not the least I regret " why i did't I join it earlier”, It could have saved my time and attempts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been taking the Comprehensive Prelims Test Series for 2018 since December and I'm immensely benefited by the simple,precise and effective pattern of the tests being conducted. These tests really help you to grasp the key concepts behind each of the subjects that together constitute the UPSC Prelims,be that history,polity,current affairs or CSAT. Timely delivery of the answer keys with detailed analysis makes you realize what UPSC wants out of you and where you need to improve. Recommended materials and sources by the institute are also very simple to digest without getting confused or burdened. As A K Mishra sir had earlier put in one of his seminars, "It's not about the size or quantity of books one follows;it's how well one understands the core areas from limited sources for UPSC CSE" Glad to find the test patterns sticking a 100% to his words. The faculty are really cooperative and friendly, and while I'm not taking classes,one of my friend does,and on her behalf I can say that the teaching faculty are also excellent and dynamic.
I just wish you guys had opened up here a year earlier :D Anyway,this is going to be my second attempt at CSE and I'm much more confident this year,as compared to the last,thanks to Chanakya. Looking forward to the Mains Test Series as well. Thank you and welcome to Bhubaneswar :)
