★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest and one of the busiest market areas of India, Chandni Chowk is here. Small shops line the streets and offer everything from spices, garments, jewellery, electronics, toys. Barbers, florists, toy sellers and others who do not manage to find a space for themselves ply their trade on the streets. The streets of Chandni Chowk need no introduction. This part of Delhi is known not just around the country, but around the world, and with good reason, too—the charm of the place is certainly unmatchable.
Being pretty expansive (and very, very crowded) on all days of the week, finding your way around this area can be quite intimidating. From lehngas and sarees to spices and herbs of all kinds to stationery items and books, you can find anything you need if you know which street sells what, and for that we are here to help you out.
In the heart of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets. Nearby, the vast Mughal-era Red Fort now houses a museum complex, and the 17th-century Jama Masjid is a huge red-sandstone mosque with towering minarets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest markets in Delhi, Chandni Chowk is Old Delhi's main thoroughfare which is a chaotic wholesale market lined by hawkers and porters offering full medieval bazaar experience. It is an important historical site renowned for the availability of every kind of goods as well as food. It is situated opposite the red fort.
Crisscrossed by narrow streets with shops jostling for space, Chandi Chowk gives a feel of old Delhi shopping. Since the 17th-century era, this places is rightly called a "shoppers paradise" . During old times, there was a tree-lined canal running through its centre, reflecting the moon. Hence, the name "Chandni Chowk" came to being which means "moonlight place". Shopping at Chandni Chowk is fun as the market is distributed in several streets and these narrow streets are inundated with vibrant varieties of clothes, perfumes, electronic items, jewellery, candles, idols of deities and lifestyle goods.
The market deals in everything that shoppers might think to buy for oneself and as well as for home. As this is a wholesale market, one can get huge discounts on most of the items. These shopping streets is heaven for retailers too. Apart from shopping, this place is equally famous for its eateries, street food, and Indian snacks. It has been aptly said for this barrage of noise, colour and smell, "Are janaab Dilli aae aur chandni chowk nahi dekha to kya dekha?"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By the way, I have already been to Chandni Chowk. To be honest, I felt better last time than this time. Because earlier there was a small shop on the roads and sidewalks which used to give better deals. Now many new restrictions have been imposed there. Changed the original form of Chandni Chowk. If you want to buy toys, watches, electric items, clothes, then this is a better place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to spend your evening. It is completely a long lane which includes shopping, food, church, Jain temple, gurudwara, mosque. It brings all the culture in one single place. The place is rush but worth going and can get everything at reasonable prices. Opposite to that there will be red fort. The evenings will be good and there are baggis or rickshaw available to drop in n out also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place if you love shopping at very reasonable prices and quality. The only problem is crowd and rush, So you better take safety precautions, keep your face covered and enjoy the shopping. My personal suggestion not to take your car, use 2 wheeler or Rickshaw. There is less parking space issue but more to find the same place again in the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a place bustling with activities, commerce, shopping eating, branded, street side, everything lively. Now it has been made no vehicle zone, but still you will find it difficult to walk.
Shop whatever you want, eat yummy street snacks and delicacies authentic local and testy food. Experiencing is the best way to feel. So go and visit this originally developed bazaar by Mughals for their Begums.
